I introduced "the green screen" as a special effects technique for layering two images or video streams together based on colour hues.  Hence, it is also called chroma keying.

I showed how, using the technique, a background can be removed from the subject of a photo, made transparent and revealing another image behind.

We improvised a green screen using a green fabric (the shade is different from the student's school uniform) and draped it over our windows.
